Being educated, Don’t act like an uneducated, Turning Red
Coincidence is magical. Saturday is often a boring day for me though it’s a break day from the week-long hassle. In my lazy mood as I lay down on the bed with my buddy laptop scrolling through YouTube I came across ‘React’ new video. The entitled “Asian Americans React to Turning Red” with no hesitation, I clicked it and as I watch the video, the controversy and the backslash were irresistible. I already came across the news on Facebook a long time ago regarding the controversy Turning Red got into, but I had no chance to click the link and read the article.
The idiotic and nonsense ideology of the educated people that has made me laugh was bogus. Reviews like, “Some Pixar films are made for a universal audience. #TurningRed is not. The target audience for this one feels very specific and very narrow. If you are in it, this might work well for you. I am not in it. This was exhausting.” Sean O’Connell.
